Lyle Activity Center (Old Lyle Elementary School)

A chance for community members of all ages to hang out and have a good time.

Bring your favorite games! The fun will include a projector for video games, board games, and music and shared snacks including hot cocoa and popcorn.

Feel free to also bring snacks to share.

If you have a game you want to donate, please bring it that evening or

call Mildred at 509-365-0060.

Eagle Spotting at Klickitat-Balfour Day Use Park

Leader: Cathy Flick, Wildlife Biologist

Experience an educational winter field outing for bald eagles at Balfour Park. Cathy Flick will come armed with a spotting scope, give a life-history overview, and introduce you to specific year-round pairs in the area. Part of the outing will involve a short walk. Bring binoculars, or a spotting scope, and dress warmly. There are toilet facilities at the Park.

Meeting Place: 10:00 AM Balfour Klickitat Park

Access from SR-14 - heading east just before the Klickitat River turn left (north) onto Old Hwy 8. Follow Old Hwy 8 for approximately 1/4 mile to the parking lot on the east side of the road.

Fundraising Concert

The band will be releasing their new CD on Friday night!

Ms. (Eleanor) Bean will be performing new original music as well as some of her previously
performed songs. In addition, covers of Blink 182, Nickleback, and Cranberries will be included.
This is a combination fundraising event and senior project.

30% of the profits will be donated to The Dalles Civic Center and 30% will be contributed to the Lyle non-profit group OLESS.

We are very excited to bring the sweet sound of this band to your attention.

Tickets are on sale now at Klindt’s Book store in The Dalles, Dallesport Mini-Storage in Dallesport (Near the airport), The Lyle Taproom, The Lyle Cafe, Trellis Flowers in White Salmon and Waucoma Bookstore in Hood River.
